About the artwork
In this painting, the main storyline is the process of Santa Claus preparing and distributing gifts in the foreground. The triangular house on the far left is Santa Claus's workplace, where owls collect letters with wishes from all over the world and bring them here. After receiving the letters, Santa Claus and his little helpers begin packing people's Christmas gifts. Santa Claus loads the gifts onto the sleigh, while his helpers wipe down the sleigh and calm the reindeer. Along the way, they begin distributing the Christmas gifts.
