The Sagrada Família Cathedral, commonly known as the ‘Sagrada Família,’ is the masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí. Located in the heart of Barcelona, it was begun in 1884 and is still under construction today. Despite being an unfinished structure, this in no way diminishes its status as one of the world's most famous tourist attractions. The Sagrada Família is a Catholic church whose overall design draws inspiration from nature's mountains, rivers, and flora. The church features 18 towers, with the central tower reaching a height of 170 metres, surrounded by four 130-metre-tall towers, and a rear tower on the north side standing at 140 metres—none of which have been completed yet. Additionally, 12 towers are distributed across the various facades, each reaching 100 metres in height.

The shapes of the towers at the top of the Sagrada Família are intricate and adorned with colourful tiles. The spires are topped with spherical crowns and crosses. The entire structure avoids straight lines, giving it a lifelike appearance. Gaudí once said, ‘Straight lines belong to humans, while curves belong to God.’ There is no denying that the Sagrada Família is a sacred building brimming with the rhythmic movement of curves.
