About the artwork
This painting was inspired by the whites and blues of the island of Paros, where the author witnessed a scene full of sunshine and energy in front of him. The author loves the hot summer sun, so he placed the scene in a somewhat noisy place with café-restaurants, ice-cream parlours, fruit stalls and costume jewellery shops, a happy Mediterranean summer day.
