Drifting Beside the Inkstone

In this painting, the curtains on both sides slowly open, and ink-coloured pine branches grow from the edges of the painting towards the centre, representing the intertwining of time and space. Morning light shines through from the distance behind the stone steps, casting a warm glow on the sky, while the small boat remains suspended between reality and illusion. The whole world is like ‘the lake colour rippling intensely, the sea light gradually becoming hazy’.
